CHA Partners broke ground Friday on 10 N. Main, a new mixed-use development on North Main Street in Wharton that comprises a collection of 66 luxury apartment homes and approximately 7,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The property will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury apartment homes with ground-floor retail space that will bring new restaurant space to the area. The property will have 83 parking spaces and offers four electric vehicle charging stations.
CHA officials said 10 N. Main is expected to open for occupancy in the summer of 2022.
Set within a downtown location,10 N. Main is in close proximity to the ShopRite of Wharton, Costco and the Rockaway Mall, and provides easy access to several major highways, including Interstate 80, Route 15, and Route 46.
CHA Managing Partner William Colgan joined Wharton Township officials at the groundbreaking.
“We carefully select the municipalities where we develop, and we believe we have found something truly special here in Wharton, a transit-oriented town with tons of character that will make for a great place to live for our new residents,” he said. “From the brick facade to the design elements throughout the lobby and corridors, we believe 10 N. Main will serve as a celebration of the beauty and aesthetic of Wharton’s rich history.”
