Real estate development firm CHA Partners has formally cut the ribbon on its LIVIA East Hanover senior living complex, it announced Friday.
CHA, which unveiled the facility in September, said it is 100,000 square feet and includes 86 beds for long-term care and 37 beds for senior living.
East Hanover officials joined development executives at the ceremony.
“With the opening of LIVIA East Hanover, we are charting a new path for senior living, one that prioritizes wellness, quality of life and the well-being of residents above all else,” CHA’s William J. Colgan said in a prepared statement. “A crucial component of care at LIVIA East Hanover is to create a meaningful relationship-building atmosphere through socialization and specialized programming.
“We could not be more proud to officially cut the ribbon, alongside town officials and stakeholders, on this outstanding new facility, which will undoubtedly make a difference in the lives of many.”
CHA is working on its second LIVIA facility, in Totowa, which is projected to open in early 2022.
