BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A luxury townhouse building in Bloomfield has officially opened its sales office to potential residents.
CHA Partners recently announced that it has opened the sales office for the new Royal Townhomes: 14 two-story townhome units that are available for purchase. As of Monday, asking prices for the units ranged from $599,000 to $659,000.
According to a news release from the firm:
“Paying tribute to the historic Stern’s Royal Theater in both its design and name, The Royal Townhomes are located in the heart of Bloomfield’s vibrant downtown. Townhome owners will have the benefits of owning a luxury property with the amenities of renting. With a robust amenity package in place, townhome owners will have access to a state-of-the-art fitness center, an automated packaging system, two outdoor courtyards – which include seating areas, gas grills and media/entertainment – several multi-purpose event rooms, a business center and a pet spa. A covered parking garage is also available for townhome owners and visitors alike … The Royal also has 4,100-square feet (with optional mezzanine) of restaurant space with an available liquor license and 3,070-square feet of ground-floor retail space located on Farrand Street and Ward Street, respectively. With public parking and close proximity to Bloomfield Avenue, both spaces are ideally suited for a wide range of retailers.”
CHA Partners said residents at the Royal Townhomes will be able to take advantage of Bloomfield’s emergence as a “foodie destination,” pointing out that the building is “just steps away” from local culinary favorites including Aki Asian House, Anthony’s Cheesecake & Restaurant, Bucco’s Restaurant, Six Points Pub, Bloomfield Steak & Seafood House, and Blue Steel Pizza Company.
The building is also located near Jack’s Super Foodtown supermarket, along with the Bloomfield Train Station, Bloomfield Public Library and Watsessing Park, the firm said.
“Bloomfield is emerging as a hotspot for residents seeking transit-oriented living with walkability to diverse dining, retail and recreation options,” CHA managing partner William Colgan said.
“The Royal Townhomes pays tribute to Bloomfield’s rich history while meeting the need for new luxury housing for those looking to call Bloomfield home,” Colgan said.
The Royal Townhomes is part of a 372,000 square foot, mixed-use project in Bloomfield: The Royal at Bloomfield Station. CHA Partners previously said “The Royal” will have 210 residential rental apartments, 14 two-story brownstone units for purchase, about 7,000 square-feet of restaurant/retail space, and a municipally-owned parking garage with space for 304 cars.
The project is a “key component” of the Bloomfield Center Master Redevelopment Plan, a multi-phase plan to transform Bloomfield’s downtown core into a booming town center, the firm said.
