Two new tenants are joining the roster at a distinctive office building in Bloomfield, having leased 12,000 square feet at downtown property.
The landlord, CHA Partners, said 2 Broad St. is now more than 95 percent leased after the deal with Affiliated Healthcare Management and Sierra Health Services. They join a mix of other occupiers at the building, which sits at the pointed corner of Bloomfield Avenue akin to Manhattan’s iconic Flatiron Building.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the township of Bloomfield to create a bustling live, work, play environment set within its downtown district,” said Kobi Leifer, a partner at CHA. “We welcome the new tenants to this space and continue to look ahead to a bright future in downtown Bloomfield.”
The real estate firm, which is also headquartered at 2 Broad St., purchased the building in 2000 and completed renovations such as lobby and elevators updates and build-to-suits for various office tenants. The property offers easy access to the Garden State Parkway and is minutes from the Bloomfield train station, while it is steps from the retail and restaurant offerings of the township’s central business district.
CHA is also active in Bloomfield through master-planned redevelopments such as Bloomfield Station, a 487,000-square-foot, mixed-use project with 224 apartments and 60,000 square feet of retail space, as well as Six Points at Bloomfield Station, a 301,000-square-foot property with 176 apartments.
