Development firm CHA Partners has unveiled a new upscale senior living brand for a soon-to-open facility and another that’s under construction, both in northern New Jersey.
In a news release, the company said its LIVIA brand will offer upscale, wellness-focused services in assisted living, memory care, long-term care and rehabilitation. The platform will be on display this month in East Hanover, where CHA is opening a facility with 86 skilled nursing beds and 37 beds for assisted living homes.
“LIVIA marks a major step forward in creating innovative, state-of-the-art senior living communities that cater to individual needs and lifestyle preferences,” said Bill Colgan, managing principal at both LIVIA and CHA Partners. “In developing LIVIA’s mission, we look forward to welcoming a new generation of senior care that prioritizes wellbeing with a focus on a concierge level of service.”
Spanning 100,000 square feet, the East Hanover facility is a former Sycamore Living location, the news release said. CHA noted that the property and other LIVIA locations will be staffed with personal care partners that work as a team to ensure residents receive timely, high-quality care and are engaged throughout their day.
Community amenities include neighborhoods integrated with smart technology, restaurant-style dining, outdoor courtyards and a “Main Street” showcasing a theater, gaming room, a full-service bar and lounge, a beauty salon and a café, the news release said. The concept will aim to encourage socialization and participation in a mix of activities and entertainment.
Colgan and his team said that hospitality “is the core of the brand’s mission.”
“Though we now have a new name, we are still the same strong team known for providing the highest level of skilled care in a private, innovative and home-like environment,” said Richard Molfetta, chief operating officer at LIVIA. “Love, integrity, vitality, innovation and accommodation are the core principles behind our name and represent our vision to ensure that all seniors feel fulfilled, happy and comfortable in our care.”
LIVIA’s second facility, located in Totowa, is presently under construction and is projected to open in early 2022, the news release said. The new 310,000-square-foot campus will offer assisted living, memory care, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services, with a location near mass transit and 23 minutes by car from Manhattan.
Additionally, the Totowa senior care community will provide residents with high-end amenities, weekly entertainment, daily activities and advanced health care services.
